Saab Cars North America, Inc. has announced it will be recalling it’s 9-3 compact executive cars with a model year of 2010-‘11. The recall is limited to vehicles sold in US and built between June 2010 and December 2010.

The issue at hand is defective fuel pumps that do not meet specifications. The pumps may seize, which can cause the engine to stall leading to loss of control for the driver. This can be very hazardous if you are on a fast moving freeway and all of the sudden your engine cuts out! It could lead to damage, injury or worse! The vehicles tend to fail most often at lower mileages.

Saab dealers are inspecting affected vehicles & replacing with pumps that meet the proper specifications, which is FREE and should only take a few hours.
